Intricately engineered mechanical parts assembled into a work of wearable art. Keeping precision time every second. A vintage watch is an especially fascinating testimony to the craftsmanship and skills of yesterday watchmakers. As a international trading hub since the colonial days, vintage watches collecting in Singapore is never boring.

Tissot PR516 GL Automatic Watch
A well maintained Tissot PR516 GL automatic men's watch. The movement is smooth, a slight shake of the watch will set the second hand moving. This watch has a thick stainless steel case and bracelet. The bracelet is suitable for wrist diameter from 6cm to 9cm. The watch crystal face, the case and the bracelet all has no noticeable scratch. Some noticeable scratch marks seen on the back cover. The winding crown has the Tissot logo. The bracelet is signed Tissot, all stainless steel 672.32. The red second hand made a dash of color to the attractive deep blue dial face which is unfortunately spotted due to age.

1980s Tissot Stylist Men's Quartz Watch
A slim quartz watch with thick gold plating. If you need the convenience of a quartz watch, the Tissot Stylist Men quartz retains the work of art feeling reserved for quality mechanical watches. Bought sometime in 1985. The inscription on the back covers reads : waterresistent 30m, stainless steel back, mineral crystal and has the Tissot logo with the number c260 below the logo. Battery is Swiss Made Renata dry button cell type 371.
So what went wrong, I vaguely remember that after changing the battery, the back cover did not fit properly and thens to come off. After some time the watch stop working and also the hour, minute and second hand cannot be move by turning the clown. Who done what and where and when is beyong my memory.
This Tissot Stylist Men Quartz is now available for repairs or parts by someone who cares.
